Reducing solvent usage in industrial applications has become a focus Worldwide

Crystal Cap Cleaners addressed this focus 12 years ago while developing a

completely new cleaning system.

Only the Crystal Cap Cleaning system concentrates the cleaning action directly at

the “BUSINESS END” of the gun or Bell applicator.

The patented impeller system employs the ultimate cleaning action with a constantly changing angle of attack combined with a rapid pulsing action through high pressure jets using a minimum of solvent with air propulsion.

Most other cleaners use many extra stationary jets. The result is a “SHOTGUN”

approach to the cleaning operation and often the contaminated areas are not cleaned.

The same cleaning solvent also washes down the inside of the vessel resulting in

additional solvent saving.

The unit is connected to a solvent recovery system which insures a minimum of

solvent consumption. Many Auto plants are allowing solvents to be discharged into the

booth water.

Auto plants that do manual cleaning expose the operator to the solvents and

additional contamination into the booth.

In side by side trials with all the current cleaners, the Crystal Cap

Cleaner has consistently demonstrated that an average of 30 mls of solvent

is saved in each cleaning cycle and there is a reduction in the cycle time.

When calculated over the number of cycles per shift, the number of
cleaners on line,
the number of production days etc.
The solvent consumption can average
8,000 liters per Robot station
per annum.
